To be honest, I didn’t put much effort in this photo. I realized a day ago that I had to present a picture of me in front of 30-something photography students and I wasn’t in the mood for an elaborate photo-shoot. Lights, camera, toys, and here I go! I’m not satisfied with the results, but for the time being, I have more important business to deal with, like the new design for this site due in 3 days and the CFQ’s website (once the domain finally transfers).

I recently dug out my old lego blocks coincidentally with the release of Toy Story 3. Here are a few snapshots taken with my E-420 for the photography class. If you like it, there’s this guy who makes terrific representations of famous images in Lego.

70-200mm

Lucky as I am, I got my hands on a bigger toy: a 70-200mm Canon zoom lens. Out of more interesting subjects, I took a picture of my dog. My default 14-42mm Zuiko lens feels boring now. Hello consumerism!

That being said, I don’t spend nearly enough time taking photos. I will try to bring some more color here.
