Kartoffelgratin

- 1 kg floury potatoes
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 pinch nutmeg, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 300 ml cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- a handful of cheese (Bergkäse)
Preparation
- Cut the potatoes in thin, 2 mm slices
- In a bowl, mix potatoes, garlic, nutmeg, salt, pepper and cream.
- Butter a baking dish, and lay down the potatoes in flat layers.
- Cook for about 30 minutes at 200ºC with the fan on.
- Add a handful of cheese on top, and cook for an extra 5 minutes.
