Gochujang pasta
Updated inThis is a blend of a few different recipes that use gochujang in pasta sauce. It’s closest to the Mob Kitchen variant. My friend makes a different version that leaves out the sausage and uses silken tofu instead of cream.
This recipe is a work in progress, but it’s really hard to mess it up.
Ingredients
- 1 shallot or 1/2 small onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 200g salciccia
- 100ml vodka (optional)
- 200g cooking cream
- 40g parmesan
- Chili oil (optional)
Instructions
- Cook salciccia and set aside
- Sauté shallots/onions until golden
- Add garlic, cook for another minute or two
- Add gochujang
- Add half the vodka and let it simmer away.
- Add cooking cream. Simmer down to a nice creamy consistency.
- Add parmesan, salciccia and the rest of the vodka
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Use chili oil to add heat as needed.
