Lamb kheema

Ingredients
- 3–4 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 500g minced lamb (or lamb and beef)
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp masala spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp butter
- Chopped parsley
- ½ green chili (save the other half for serving)
- Pitas, for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and brown the onions on low heat.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook 2–4 minutes.
- Stir in meat, tomato, chili, salt, pepper, and spices; mix well.
- Cook until the desired texture is reached.
- Stir in parsley and butter and cook briefly.
- Serve hot with rice or pitas.
